Description
Morpheus II brings forth the harmonious marriage of two noble grapes—Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, grown on the rugged, rocky slopes of Atlas Peak. The location and rootstocks for the Shiraz grapes were personally selected by Michel Chapoutier. In 2002, the struggling vines produced less than 1.75 tons per acre. All grapes were fermented in small three-quarter-ton fermenters for maximum flavor extraction. Powerful yet elegant...it'll stand the test of time.
