One of my greatest inspirations is Pinot Noir. It is the most magnificent variety in the world, full of diversity, complexity and intrigue, heartbreaking at times but always rewarding. I have chosen the 2003 Block 173 as this year's Premiere lot for its harmonious balance of fruit and exotic concentration.
