Description
The Napa Valley is traversed by two roads, the best known being State Highway 29, which passes through Yountville, Rutherford, St Helena and Calistoga on its way north. Our West Side Story is a juicy, dark Cabernet Sauvignon cuvee blended from key vineyards on the West Side of this highway. And unlike the outcome of the Broadway play of the same name, this wine finishes in harmony and good length.
Harry Hansen
Winemaker, Sterling Vineyards
Prior to being named senior winemaker at Sterling Vineyards, Hansen held the position of director of winemaking for Edna Valley. Hansen's tenure with Edna Valley began in 2001 as winemaker and was ultimately promoted to director of winemaking in 2008.
