Description
The fruit for this one-of-a-kind blend is grown in our award-winning vineyards in the St. Helena and Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley nested appellations, where Ian Devereux lives, host tours and spends many of his days. All vines are more than 20 years old, are sustainably farmed and hand-harvested at night. The wines made from these vines regularly score in the high 90s and have received more golds than we can count. We are blessed! Your wine was crafted by award-winning winemaker Brett Adams and will be a luscious, complex, full-bodied expression of a Napa red wine. It is currently aging in new French oak.

Winemaker Brett Adams began working in the wine industry at Trinchero in 2001 after finishing his BS in Fermentation Science from UC Davis. After that he went on to study for a Master's of Science at Washington State University with an emphasis in Enology. Upon leaving WSU, Brett came back to California to work as Assistant Winemaker at Roche winery in Sonoma, followed by a harvest at Sequoia Grove Winery in Rutherford and then Honig Vineyard & Winery as Associate Winemaker. He now makes all of the wines for Smith Devereux.
