Proprietor's Barrel
2015 Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley
There is one singular belief that drives us at Boich Family Cellar, and that is the most magnificent wine experiences come from the most magnificent fruit. This is why our process always begins by identifying the most proven, most iconic vineyards in Napa from which to source our fruit. From these gems we craft small quantities of single vineyard designated Cabernet Sauvignon made in the classic New World style that defines "big Napa Cabernet" as a genre of its own. To say that this wine is opulent would be a glaring understatement. This wine has a mature and wise personality all its own that radiates all the beauty found in wines from this celebrated vineyard. The Boich Family Cellar G III Proprietor’s Barrel is a truly unique Napa Cabernet Sauvignon experience. From the moment the aroma invades your senses to the long silky finish, it is one hedonistic delight you will not want to miss.

Winemaking Philosophy:
Our approach to wine making focuses on procuring the best fruit possible and once you have it get the heck out of the way. The very finest wines are a rare gift from Mother Nature and can never be replicated through labs or engineering. This is not to say that crafting a 100 point Napa Cab is effortless, quite the contrary. The wine making process is a never ending quest to understand your vineyard and how best to take your harvest from the vineyard to the bottle and get the most from your fruit. Wine making is an art subject to the whims of nature not a science. And that will never change. At the end of the day people sometimes forget that the purpose of fine wine is for it to taste great - simple as that.
