Description

The Hayne Vineyards in St. Helena have been producing fruit for over 150 years and still have some vines dating to 1902. The Bourn family who planted it were the builders of the Greystone winery in 1888, where Premiere Napa Valley now takes place. This 100% pure 2023 Ampleur Cabernet Sauvignon is the top barrel in the lot of the inaugural release from a brand new NVV member. Ampleur is the French word for “magnitude,” “size,” “extent,” or “scope." We believe the finest wines of the world have a certain presence, or magnitude in the mouth which combines lively freshness of fruit with luxurious texture, framed by a supportive structure that allows the wine to age gracefully. Morgan Maureze's experience working at some of the greatest wineries in France and Napa Valley shows through in this exciting debut wine.
