The exceptional terroir of this famed hill allows for slow, nuanced ripening, creating Cabernets with deep layers of complexity as apparent on the crush pad as they will be after years of cellaring. Indeed, this lot of Purlieu Martinez Vineyard – “Cachére” Cabernet will be enticing upon release, but will also reward a decade or more of further patience.
