Description
In 1998, Paul Erba’s vision was to produce a world-class wine that represented the best of what Napa Valley could produce. After a two-year search, a piece of virgin land was found and when he first saw it, he knew this would become a special vineyard. The land was transformed into a breathtaking vineyard at an elevation of 1,000-1,500 feet, with steep south- and east-facing slopes, whose exposure and soils allow the grapes to ripen perfectly. Sixteen blocks were created with multiple clones planted. Winemaker Denis Malbec was brought on in 2010 to bring to fruition the vision.
Our Premiere Napa Valley offering is sourced from multiple picks of our best clones, and together, they highlight the singular mountainside terroir of our property in a wine that is both powerful and elegant.
