Napa Valley

Description

B Cellars draws its inspiration from Old- World blending traditions. Our distinct multi-vineyard strategy is made possible through long-standing relationships with Napa’s most coveted properties. Winemaker Kirk Venge employed meticulous selection at harvest, painstaking hand sorting, individual vineyard lot vinification, the finest French barrels and countless hours of intuitive blending sessions, always keeping in mind how the wines would work with a variety of food. Think blackberry, warm plum with a spice box and coffee aromas, paired up with browned short ribs that are slow cooked in a blackberry/Cabernet-reduction sauce and you have the party of the season lined up.

“The vineyards are key,” says Kirk, who’s worked with multiple vineyards in every appellation of Napa and Sonoma counties. “If the quality’s not there, I’m not going to touch it.
