Description
This wine holds a special place in the hearts of us at Frog's Leap since a majority of the fruit is grown in the soils that surround our historic Red Barn, located on the eastern side of Rutherford. This estate vineyard is dry-farmed and organically grown, allowing for the Rutherford Appellation to vividly shine through. A wine of such intensity and structure needed no blending partner, and so it remains 100% Merlot. Classic varietal characters of red fruit, cigar box and green tea combine with a soft and supple texture to create a memorable wine.
