In 1984, by using a blend of equal parts of three Bordeaux varietals - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc – Flora Springs created Trilogy, one of the first Meritage wines. Later we co-founded The Meritage Association which remains the standard bearer for this offspring of the California Cabernet family varietals. In 2008, the 30th anniversary year for Flora Springs, we present the 2006 Heritage Trilogy for auction. Equal parts of the three estate-grown varietals – each one vital to the outcome – this Trilogy is a reminder of why this groundbreaking California blend and Flora Springs Winery & Vineyards have been renowned for three decades.
