Description
Our 2004 Premiere auction lot follows the traditional method of a Loire Valley Chinon-style Cabernet Franc with 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon: 8% more Cabernet Sauvignon than our signature Cabernet Franc. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are from Carnivale Vineyard on Atlas Peak while the Cabernet Franc are From Monticello Vineyards on Big Ranch Road. It promises to be fruit-forward capturing hints of the classic nose of black cherry, low in tannin and food friendly. With proper cellaring, this Cabernet Franc will continue to improve until 2014.
