Description
There is one dedicated winery that has been sourcing a small amount of Zinfandel from this great site since 2004, and that would be (ahem) Robert Biale Vineyards.
In our quest to keep the Napa Valley Zinfandel tradition going at the highest level, we worked with owner/manager Jan Krupp to establish a small parcel in order to grow Zinfandel using our old clones from Aldo’s, Old Crane and Monte Rosso vineyards.
The resulting wines from the Biale Block have been as fabulous as expected, and the perfect 2012 vintage version is probably the finest one yet—a great site in a great year from a producer that is just a little crazy about Zinfandel.
