Description
This is a blend produced from our two estate vineyards located along the Silverado Trail, each with distinctive soil types. Abela Vineyard's Yolo Series soil imparts black currant and boysenberry flavors; Franklin Vineyard's Pleasanton Series soil produces fruit characterized by earthy aromas and bing cherry, anise and pepper flavors. This elegant wine, with a rich mid-palate and long, silky finish, is crafted from 100% organically grown Cabernet from a select 10% of each vineyard's yield. Soft, supple tannins ensure extended aging.
