Description
BURLY is known as a Coombsville Cabernet purist, so for our Premiere offering we decided to mix it up a bit. We are pleased to offer Kiss, a special Coombsville blend of 90% Cabernet with a “kiss” of 10% Syrah. After many trial blends from select barrels, winemaker Massimo Monticelli crafted a wine that best captures the true essence of the Coombsville region. The “kiss” of Syrah is a perfect complement to our dense and concentrated Cabernet that comes from Simpkins Ranch and adds additional layers of complexities of smoke, color and spice. The wine is a perfect example of strength and restraint, integrated tannins, supple mouth feel and pure yumminess. Paddle up for your Kiss!

My father, grandfather, and great grandfather were all winemakers. I learned from my father and grandfather at a young age. After graduate school I worked for 5 years at Silver Oak. I have been a consultant for the last 9 years.
