Description
This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, all from our 100% organically farmed vineyard in the western hills of Oakville, is a beautifully balanced wine. It shows a lot of dark fruit and complexity in the mouth. Although the wine is tannin rich, it still has a mellowness that makes it even now an elegant wine. The wine will age in French oak for about 22 months and bottle age another 14 months.
This special blend is the creation of Phil Schlein and Joe Cafaro, who continue to collaborate to make elegant, drinkable, food-friendly wines.
