Description
We introduce Krupp Brothers "Two Bald Heads Cuvee" from Stagecoach Vineyard. Krupp Brothers' two winemakers may be short on hair but they're long on delivery: they really know how to coax the most richly textured wines from their wild mountain ecosystem's rocky, rust-colored volcanic soils. 2008 was a low-yielding, intense vintage at Stagecoach Vineyard. Painstakingly crafted by Nigel Kinsman and Aaron Pott from two of the vineyard's best Cabernet Sauvignon blocks, this Cabernet possesses a rare combination of power, elegance and complexity. Wines like this go a long way toward explaining how Stagecoach Vineyard has elevated to rock-star status among iconic Napa Valley names. Cabernet from Pritchard Hill never tasted so good, and it's only going to get better with age.
