From Clos Du Val’s Oak Vineyard, which sits beside the winery in the Stags Leap District, this lot represents Clos Du Val’s first-ever singular-bottling of Clone 6. Clone 6 is known for its loose clusters and small berries, and with its dark color, intense varietal character, depth and power, is the backbone of Clos Du Val’s Cabernet blends. With this lot, winemaker Kian Tavakoli puts Clone 6 on a pedestal.
