This lot offers the very rare opportunity to own a single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Far Niente. The Martin Stelling Vineyard has been the cornerstone of our Cabernet program since our first vintage in 1982. Year after year, it produces exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc grapes that are blended into our estate Cabernet. This special barrel of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was picked from select blocks in the Cabernet sweet spot of the vineyard. Juicy and ripe with concentrated flavors of black currant and licorice, this special vineyard-designate showcases the character and consistency of Martin Stelling Vineyard and underscores its position as one of the greats of Napa Valley Cabernet.
