Description
This wine is the first Cabernet Sauvignon made from the re-planted Rudd vineyards in Oakville, as well as the first vintage to be made by Rudd’s winemaker, Charles Thomas. Charles has selected Cabernet Sauvignon from two blocks within the estate, one block from the North Vineyard and one from the South Vineyard. These two blocks exemplify different underlying geologies of the rocky, volcanic soils within the 54-acre estate. The wine made from these blocks exhibits the unique characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon from this part of the Oakville appellation.
