Michael Coode’s esteemed career spans 21 harvests and 4 countries comprising France, Australia, Canada and the United States. Michael has worked at the renowned Chateaux Margaux, Paul Jaboulet Ainee, Inglenook, Penfolds, Tahbilk, Rombauer and Inniskillin. A quiet achiever, Michael’s has reinvented and reinvigorated the wine portfolio of many estate wineries, bringing his international experience and business acumen to ensure each property develops wines that express the greatest potential of their terroir. Michael’s palate, dedication and international experience has made him a driving force in the Napa Valley which he has called home since 2015. His collection of old world and new world experience has reinvigorated the Rutherford Hill wine program, bringing renewed focus to this rare Rutherford hillside estate.
