Description

SODHANI Vineyards is a family owned 6.5-acre hillside vineyard in St. Helena with a unique terroir making limited releases of phenomenal, handcrafted Cabernet Sauvignon wines by winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown. With a steep slope, the vineyard is entirely hand-farmed throughout the year, and meticulously hand-harvested before dawn to capture the full potential of the vines. Blessed with a unique microclimate, the large diurnal temperature swings allow fabulous acid development for elegantly balanced, long-lasting wine. Thomas has created an exceptional 100% Cabernet Sauvignon for you from aging the blocks separately in 100 percent new French oak for 20 months and then superbly blending clones 7, 15 and 337. When those 3 clones come together in the finished wine, they make a powerful, classic brooding hillside Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with hints of sweet tobacco, creosote, blackberries and dried herbs.
