Description
This special selection of estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon was chosen from fruit grown in the shallow soils of our Northern Carneros Vineyard. Winemaker Sal De Ianni, chose this offering from a barrel that came from the original "Old Block" Vineyard planted in 1974. Beautiful structure, soft tannins, and perfect balance characterize this "Old World" style Cabernet Sauvignon.

Winemaker, Truchard Vineyards
Sal was the enologist for Cuvaison Winery from 1995-1997, then worked as harvest winemaker in 1997 for Margaret River Vineyards in Australia. From 1998 onward, he has served as winemaker for Truchard Vineyards.
