Description

This wine is 100% estate grown with a touch of Merlot, displaying a unique boldness and personality by adding its breadth and concentration to the finished blend. A lively bright crimson color leads to a perfumed nose of red berries coupled with underlying touches of blueberry and an accompanying hint of a damp forest floor. The palate is richly textured with a bold mouthfeel accented by a supporting layer of integrated, sweet tannins, lively acidity and an air of freshness. Red berries are highlighted with cassis, current and clove in supporting roles. The layered and lingering finish is multi-dimensional in character while carrying on the attributes of the palate to define its balance and structure.
