Description

Entirely Cabernet Sauvignon, your wine is sourced from Lamb Vineyard, a singular estate site that has been farmed and vinified by the Fisher family since 1975. Nestled between the foot of the Palisades and Simmons Creek in the Calistoga nested appellation, Lamb Vineyard is composed of boomer clay loam and gravelly loam soils that yield small quantities of fruit. The resulting wines showcase a rare combination of rich, concentrated flavors, supple texture and elegance. Named after co-founder Juelle Lamb Fisher’s late father, Dr. Robert Lamb, this wine carries added significance and family pride as we celebrate five decades of farming estate vineyards in Napa Valley.

Adam Goodrich

Winemaker, Fisher Vineyards

Winemaker, Adam Goodrich

Fisher Vineyards Winemaker Adam Goodrich embodies the family’s passion for terroir-driven
wines, combining studies in biochemistry with a nuanced understanding of the many ways nature nurtures wine.

Having honed his skills in the laboratory at Robert Mondavi Winery and in the cellar under Bob Cabral at Williams-Selyem, Adam joined the Fisher Vineyards team as Associate Winemaker in 2010.

“I felt like this move initially was to round out my winemaking prowess regarding Cabernet
Sauvignon and to work with estate vineyards more intimately. What I didn’t know is that the Fisher Family and the nature of winemaking would grab my heart and soul, allowing me to realize what true winemaking is: soil, topography, joy, place and an emotional experience that leads to a snapshot of not just the vintage, but of our lives as well.”

Adam excelled in his role and was promoted to Winemaker for Fisher Vineyards and UNITY Wines in 2015. He and wife Natalie celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2024. They have two children, Grace and Gabriel. The family enjoys being active outdoors, running, golfing and gardening.
