Description
The Boeschen family brings to you, for the first time ever, a wine made from the single best barrel of Cabernet Sauvignon in their cave. The Barrel Select Cabernet is currently tucked in for aging on 100% premium new French oak. The grapevines grow on the hillside carved through layers of black volcanic obsidian. This stunning vineyard produces low-yielding yet extremely high-quality fruit with small berries and a rich tapestry of flavors, which express the love the Boeschen family has put into caring for their land.

My previous winemaking experience came from multiple great wineries, including Spottswoode, Sequoia Grove/Karl Lawrence and Chateau Mercier, in Bordeaux.

Study and winemaking work in Bordeaux, France.

Winemaking Philosophy:
My first priority is to make balanced, expressive wines that reflect the character of our hillside estate vineyards. My second priority is to take the winemaking seriously while not taking myself too seriously!
