Description
My family’s roots in California wine date back to the early 1930s, when my grandfather Marty started a career in the wholesale business. My father David later joined him, and the two worked side-by-side to build upon a dream to import and distribute incredible wines from California and beyond. Since that foundation, wine has been the centerpiece of my family’s narrative and livelihood. Today, I’m proud to carry on that tradition with my own son, Jake, while also making wine in some of California’s most exciting appellations.
We honor a deep heritage with this special wine from the historic Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III. This parcel, purchased by Georges de Latour in 1928 and originally called Beaulieu Vineyard Number 3, was home to BV's Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignons made by the renowned Andre Tchelistcheff. In 1988, it was purchased by Beckstoffer Vineyards, and today we are fortunate that our relationship with Andy Beckstoffer enables us to craft this wine from his incredible vineyard. This wine truly embodies a pure expression of its vineyard microsite, with elegance and extraordinary balance.
