Description
Our lot, from the exceptional 2016 vintage, is a Cabernet-based Bordeaux blend that celebrates our acquisition of the singular Candlestick Ridge Vineyard located at nearly 2300 feet along the summit of Howell Mountain. The fruit from this volcanic, boulder-strewn site is deeply colored, structured and complex. A portion of Merlot and Malbec add finesse and nuance to this powerful wine. While balanced and integrated enough to enjoy when young, this towering wine is sure to improve for decades in the cellar.
