Description
The Calla Lily was named after the Greek word for beautiful, “Calla.” The 2016 single vineyard blend is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8 % Petit Verdot, 2% Merlot and 2 % Cabernet Franc and was grown on the Calla Lily estate on the eastern hills of Pope Valley planted in 1995.
Our first Premier Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon lot illustrates brilliant hues of reds and purples, while opening with aromas of ripe blackberry, anise and attractive toasted notes of French oak. Similar flavors follow through with a center density of black cherry and currant, accented by the attributes of barrel maturation. Firm tannins and bright acidity add to the complexity of the wine, inviting you back for another sip.
