Description
Sterling Vineyards is proud to provide this special lot of our most premium Napa Valley vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with intense color and structure were fastidiously chosen for this wine to produce a Napa Valley classic. Rich, inky and beautifully perfumed, the wine immediately shows concentrated black berry fruit with rich texture and a length of palate. Small lots of vineyard selections were aged in new French oak barrels in the Sterling reserve winery in Calistoga.
Harry Hansen
Winemaker, Sterling Vineyards
Prior to being named senior winemaker at Sterling Vineyards, Hansen held the position of director of winemaking for Edna Valley. Hansen's tenure with Edna Valley began in 2001 as winemaker and was ultimately promoted to director of winemaking in 2008.
