Description

This rare expression of Napa Valley winemaking is one of only 60 bottles that will ever be made. Think of it as a bit of Napa Valley history in your cellar and celebrated in a glass with friends and family.
Grapes for your Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested from a small number of vines planted among the Merlot at Hopper Creek. These vines have a low yield, which consistently makes a wine of exceptional quality. The grapes were destemmed and punched down by hand three times a day. Wild yeast began the fermentation followed by a pure strain of yeast. Gentle pressing and on to a French oak barrel. This Cabernet Sauvignon was then blended with Merlot and Malbec to enhance the fruit and soften the tannins. A Vicard barrel provided additional delicious aromas and luscious fruit flavors.
