Our Premiere Napa Valley 2012 offering features a selection of our top ten lots from the 2010 vintage, which was produced in the dedicated Georges DeLatour Winery. This lot is primarily barrel fermented—a labor-intensive process we first introduced in 2007 to increase the concentration, integration and complexity of Georges DeLatour Private Reserve. This new stage in the life of Georges DeLatour continues a 110-year commitment to quality and innovation

Jeffrey Stambor
Winemaker, Beaulieu Vineyard
Jeffrey has worked at Beaulieu Vineyard for nearly 20 years, combining a deep knowledge of viticulture with intuitive winemaking. He joined BV in 1989 as a viticulture-enologist, and for many years, served as an important connection between the winery and its historic vineyards in Napa Valley. He believes his experience working with legendary winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff was an opportunity to learn from a master.

It's an exciting time to be a winemaker at Beaulieu Vineyard, and I'm especially proud of the care we've taken to improve our historic Rutherford estate. Our vineyards are a rich source of inspiration, the creative spark that helps us guide our wines to reveal the distinctive flavor and personality of each terroir.
