Description
This 2009 wine from Beaulieu Vineyard is
100% Cabernet Sauvignon from our famous
vineyards in the heart of Rutherford—BV1
and BV2. After hand picking these vineyards,
our director of winemaking, Jeffrey Stambor,
handcrafted this one-of-a-kind wine in our
new dedicated Georges de Latour Private
Reserve Winery. Beaulieu Vineyard recently
celebrated 110 years of leadership and prestige
in the Napa Valley, and its mark in the world
of winemaking as a whole. Georges de Latour
Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was first
created in 1936 to honor founder Georges de
Latour, and with each release we commemorate
his vision and passion for excellence. This
wine remains the ultimate artistic expression
of Cabernet Sauvignon at BV and sets the
standard for great California wines.

Jeffrey Stambor
Winemaker, Beaulieu Vineyard
Jeffrey has worked at Beaulieu Vineyard for nearly 20 years, combining a deep knowledge of viticulture with intuitive winemaking. He joined BV in 1989 as a viticulture-enologist, and for many years, served as an important connection between the winery and its historic vineyards in Napa Valley. He believes his experience working with legendary winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff was an opportunity to learn from a master.
