Description
It was destiny…In 1850, Fortune Chevalier sailed from France to San Francisco. During that era, there were tens of thousands of thirsty miners and Fortune established F. Chevalier and Company with the intent of satisfying his own thirst for profit. In 1891, he built a stone castle and planted about 40 acres of grapes on Spring Mountain.
Today, Fortune’s estate is now producing magnificent and bold Cabernet Sauvignon as part of the Spring Mountain Vineyard. This special lot of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon comes solely from Fortune’s original property.
