Description
The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of the five Bordeaux varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Many factors contribute to making this a unique wine, including our vineyard location on the western side of Howell Mountain, and very mature vines, which were replanted in the '70s and now produce grapes with extremely high complexity and concentration. These 30-year-old vines create and extraordinary and unique wine, along with aging in new Marchive French oak barrels, which complement the personality of the wine. This offering was hand-selected from our finest lots of wine to create a truly rare and exceptional blend.
