From the base of the Manor House porch at Stags’ Leap Winery extends Block 7, an exceptional vineyard parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon that serves as the focus for the Stags’ Leap Winery Estate Cabernet blend each year. The well drained, residual, volcanic soils on this gentle slope contribute to small, low-yielding vines producing berries of unusual intensity, complexity and structure. This single bottling of Block 7 Cabernet Sauvignon from 2005 is a testament to the terroir of this glorious estate, and a special wine unavailable anyplace else in the world.
