Description
Once again we have selected our single-best vineyard lot on the estate for this exclusive bottling. Last November we blind tasted each of the 42 barrel lots produced in 2008 and selected "Tortuga" Cabernet Sauvignon as best single wine on the estate. This little 4.3-acre site has proven to be one of the best locations of the vineyard over the years. Tortuga garnered its name from the distinct knoll in the center of this vineyards, which resembles the back of a tortoise shell. This barrel has been a favorite of the family's to visit in the cellar and we hope that it will be yours as well.
