Description
Boeschen Vineyards is a very small, family-owned vineyard and winery committed to making the best possible Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines. The family members—Dann, Shawn and Doug—craft the wine and farm our seven-acre estate vineyard.
This Premiere lot is selected from the best Cabernet blocks grown on our prized hillside terraces. The blend is made in an Old-World style, seeking balance and complexity, with small additions of Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Boeschen Vineyards chooses only the best grapes to produce fewer than 400 cases each year. This five-case lot is truly the best of the best, made only for this one-time event.

My previous winemaking experience came from multiple great wineries, including Spottswoode, Sequoia Grove/Karl Lawrence and Chateau Mercier, in Bordeaux.

Winemaking Philosophy:
My first priority is to make balanced, expressive wines that reflect the character of our hillside estate vineyards. My second priority is to take the winemaking seriously while not taking myself too seriously!
