Description
The Hess Collection Premiere Napa Valley lot is a 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon from our Mt. Veeder Hills vineyard. At an elevation of 1,100 feet, the vineyard is on extreme topography with soil of clay over rock, yielding small berries with concentration of flavors. The resulting wine expresses the best of the Mt. Veeder terroir. This wine is intense and well balanced with vibrant cassis and black cherry flavors and solid structure. It will cellar well to 2020.
