Description
Nathan Fay, pioneer Stags Leap District Cabernet grower, shared this clone from his vineyard with Warren Winiarski for his adjoining vineyard, S.L.V. When Nathan retired in 1986, Warren purchased Fay Vineyard and honored Nathan's providence by replanting that clone from S.L.V. to Fay Block 4A. A core component to Cask 23, this wine showcases the ethereal nuances of the clone in its historic terroir.
