Description
This 100% Howell Mountain Cabernet conveys the best qualities of this exceptional appellation. Block 2, located atop a knoll with 360-degree exposure, has especially volcanic soil with fractured rock and rich earth. The vines are the oldest in the vineyard, planted in 1988. In true Robert Craig style, this special offering is a full-bodied, yet supple and stylish Cabernet, exhibiting pure, sweet fruit flavors and soft tannins in a
harmonious, well-balanced presentation. The volcanic soil, intense exposure and low yields translate into deep peppery and spicy flavors heralded by Howell Mountain fans.
