Description
Winemaker Stacy Clark announces the creation of Sept. This estate grown Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Block 7 of the hillside vineyards that surround our winery. This block is planted exclusively with Clone 7, the classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon clone. The grapes were hand-picked and hand-sorted to ensure optimal quality, in September of 2001. The wine was macerated on the skins for 29 days and has aged in 100% new French oak barrels. Sept is an exemplary offering from what many deem the finest Cabernet Sauvignon producing area in the world.
