Description
From the top of the Kuleto Estate comes this premiere release of estate grown Shiraz. Three distinctive clones are planted on a five-acre block at 1,600 feet on a gradually sloping south-facing knoll overlooking the newly constructed winery. We’ve blended a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon into this special lot to enhance the intense white pepper spice and blackberry jam characteristics that our Shiraz displays. Aged in 100% new French oak. The 2001 vintage marks the first year that we will release a commercial Shiraz. We hope it is the first of many memorable vintages from our Estate.
This wine will be bottled in March and released in September of this year.
