Sixty of the country’s top sommeliers blended this wine at Franciscan’s fifth annual Sommelier Summit. Winemaker Larry Levin presented ten of Franciscan’s best lots from the 2001 harvest and in teams, these expert palates played winemaker to blend the first ever Sommelier Summit Cuvee. Together, they choose the components, appellation and agreed upon one wine to present at Premiere Napa Valley. Franciscan and the 2002 Sommelier Summit guests proudly offer this rich, supple Oakville Meritage.
