Known for a long tradition of creating expressive Bordeaux-style wines from Napa Valley’s痴 finest vineyards, Conn Creek Winery is offering a one-time bottling of 2002 Malbec from its estate vineyard in Yountville. Perennially used to add personality to Conn Creek’s痴 highly acclaimed Anthology red blend, this 100% Malbec displays delicate yet determined aromas of blueberry and layered flavors of plums and vanilla. The plush, silky finish ensures near-term enjoyment but the patient connoisseur will be well rewarded. The Malbec is the first act in the Anthology production. Look for other varietal acts to follow in future Premiere Napa Valley auctions.
