Description
Wines from Bancroft Ranch vineyard have formed the backbone of Beringer 's Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon since 1986. In 1993, winemaker Ed Sbragia selected another Howell Mountain vineyard, Tre Colline (Italian for "three hills"), for the Private Reserve program. This unique Howell Mountain blend from the 1997 harvest layers the rich flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc produced by these two exceptional mountain vineyards.
