Rocca Family Vineyards is proud to introduce the first and only Barrel Select Cabernet Sauvignon ever created from our Collinetta Vineyard Estate in Coombsville (recently named “The Napa Valley Organic Winery of The Year” at the NY International Wine Competition). Located at First Avenue and Coombsville Road, this unique vineyard is basically a ten-acre volcanic rock, rising off the valley floor. Cool breezes and soil rich with pumice and loam combine with Certified Organic farming practices to create some of the most sophisticated, elegant and highly-structured Cabernets in all of Napa. To crank it all up a notch exclusively for PNV, renowned winemaker Paul Colantuoni has hand-selected his favorite barrel from his favorite block for this Cabernet bottling. The result is Block One Barrel Select, a 100% Cabernet that’s a perfect combination of Old World and New World appeal. It has the vineyard's trademark color and structure and sophistication, but with more ripeness and rich fruit than ever before. Coming from the unprecedented 2013 vintage, this one-of-a-kind wine is sure to be a delicious and unique addition to your cellar.
