Philippe Melka
Winemaker, ADAMVS
Born and raised in Bordeaux, France, Philippe attended the University of Bordeaux graudating with a degree in geology, then a Master's degree in enology and agronomy. Philippe's first winery was Chateau Haut Brion, followed by work and study in Australia, Italy, back in France (Petrus) and finally in Napa Valley (Dominus). Philippe began consulting in 1995.

Jason Valenti
Winemaker, ADAMVS
Jason left a promising career in pharmaceutical sales to pursue his goal of becoming a winemaker. Upon graduating from the U.C. Davis Viticulture and Enology program, Jason joined Paul Hobbs Wines where he was afforded the opportunity to work with some of the most highly regarded cabernet sauvignon vineyards from the Napa Valley over the course of seven years. He took a brief sabbatical from Paul Hobbs in 2007-2008 to further refine his pinot noir skills at Kosta Browne Wines.
In 2012, Jason was offered the unique opportunity to become the founding Winemaker at ADAMVS...where he would have the chance to explore the potential of one of the very best sites on Howell Mountain.
