Dario was raised on his family's farm in Veneto, Italy, where he funded his winemaking studies at the University of Padova by making pizza at the local pizzeria. Dario eventually brought both these skills to Napa Valley, where he partnered to create both the winery, and soon thereafter, Ca' Momi Enoteca. As both winemaker and pizza chef, you will find him either chatting about Ca' Momi wines with the public, or in the kitchen prepping dough for his next masterpiece. As the voice of Ca' Momi, you'll often find him on radio and television stations and in local and national publications.


Stefano Migotto
Chief Productions Officer & Winemaker
Born in Abano Terme in northern Italy, Stefano was raised in his family's winery, where he helped out from the time he could walk. Stefano eventually took over the family business, while studying winemaking at the University of Padova. With a degree in enology in his pocket, Stefano moved to Napa Valley to start Ca' Momi Winery. A real gearhead, Stefano can always be found in the cellar, making sure things are working the way they should.

Education: In the early 1990s, Stefano Migotto and Dario De Conti were two of Italy's brightest young winemakers. A decade later, each came to California to share his expertise with American winemakers. In the process, both fell in love with the Napa Valley and started a partnership in the Ca' Momi Napa Valley brand.

Combined, Stefano and Dario have over 30 years' experience in wine consulting and the finer points of Old World winemaking. From their years consulting for wineries throughout the region, both men hold long-established relationships with some of the best grape growers in Napa Valley, guaranteeing top-quality fruit for years to come.

Winemaking Philosophy:
Founded in 2006, Ca' Momi is offering of three Italians: Dario De Conti, Valentina Guolo-Migotto and Stefano Migotto. Ca' Momi is a tribute to the land of their birth, and the wines that they love.
