Winemaker, Scarecrow Wine
I started making wine in the back yard, literally at my father's knees, in the mid-1960s. Becoming a professionally trained winemaker only reinforced what I learned as a kid...all the details count. I've been lucky enough to work in Napa for more than 25 vintages, and am still learning.
